"As war raged between the new Hiigaran Empire and the remnants of the Taiidani Imperialists, the Galactic Council was still engaged in an unending debate over the situation. One faction on the council argued that the Taiidani had been placed in this position by them, and to intervene would be inappropriate, while still others believed that the Hiigaran's position was the most understandable. Eventually the Bentusi came to lead the pro-Hiigara faction while the chair-race of the council took up the opposition. When it became apparent that the Bentusi would not flinch from their position, the council's chair-race sent an envoy to the Imperialists. Within this envoy the construction plans for the Council Megaship could be found, and eventually they arrived in the Imperialist computer banks. When news of this horrible infraction reached the Bentusi and the rest of the council, a vote was taken. The chair-race of the council was expelled by a nearly unanimous vote, while the Bentusi took their place. The second vote put towards the council was one of support for the Hiigarans, whether or not the battle should be equalized. The vote eventually came through with a strong support for the Hiigarans, and the decision was made. The construction plans for the Bentusi Exchange Ship was sent to Hiigara. Now that the battle lines were clear, the Taiidani Imperialists and the Hiigarans are rallying their allies. The Taiidani called in Turanic Raiders while the Hiigarans called out to a more unusual ally. The new Guild of Kadesh, which had formed up after the original journey to Hiigara had destroyed much of the Kadeshi fleet. The Guild eventually realized their error and became strong allies of the Hiigarans. Now the fleets mass."

17/10/2007: I just noticed the following in the readme file to this mod:

"I would like to offer a special thanks to HugeGnomeBilly, who taught me how to make all the alterations found in the "Megaship Versus ExchangeShip Mod". Also, a big thanks to Scotty/Scotttismo who made the original "Megaship Mod" which inspired my choice of alterations."

Someone used my mod, yay! Obviously this is not new news but hey I felt like celebrating!
